Though women are lovely wherever I go
It’s the easiest thing in the world to say ‘no’!
There could never be another you,
For darling, don’t you see
That part of me is in you
Ant that you are partly me.
And our affair of love and love
Is something which will last,
Something founded in the future
Which continues in the past.
Though the distance and the time
We’re separated is so great,
You’re my only love for ever
And a love I know will wait.
