Do you realise that those stars up there
Are the very same ones
They saw in England
Last night?
(This fragment was reminded me of my father who had told me how he gained consolation in his loneliness in Leeds when he realised the stars he saw were the same that his family saw in Failsworth).

Flowers grow in the desert
Just for the hell of it.

Do you feel empty
Inside,
Or out?
