I Am Not In Them
(August 1973)
When I have no further use for this body of mine,
You can have it.
When I have gone out of this skin,
You can take it for grafting.
When I no longer see the light which shines in my eyes,
You shall see it.
When my kidneys have finished the job they do now,
Give them a new job.
When my heart and I part company,
Maybe someone else may need it.
You see it makes no difference to me,
I am not in them.
