There's some things you can ask someone
That are compliments to ask.
Like
"Will you be my best man?"
Best Man
To be there at my wedding to my
Best Woman.
A compliment, to complement the woman of his choice.
Best Man.
And what if you refuse him,
His Best Man lets him down,
What then?
"I'd love to. I'll be away"
"I can't, I'm Jewish"
"You know me, I'm not very good at that sort of thing"
What then?
"Will you be my second-best Best Man,
my third-best Best Man?"
What an insult to a guy on the day he weds his
Best Woman.
"Yes, I'm delighted you complimented me by asking,
I'm honoured to be your
Best Man!"
